Mountain Top Timbers specialises in the design and manufacture of unique solid timber furniture and traditional rocking horses.
Each commissioned piece is individually designed and handcrafted by furniture maker Gordon Buchanan. Examples of his work can be viewed in the Gallery.
In addition to our custom made items, two particular designs, which Gordon developed for his own children, have become extremely popular.
The delightful Kid's Chair, handcarved from "Wild Rosewood", is the perfect gift for any young child. Personalized with the child's name carved into the back, the chair will be treasured for a lifetime. It can be sent by regular mail to anywhere in Australia.
Classically styled but exceptionally detailed, the magnificent Mountain Top Timbers Rocking Horse, has remarkably lifelike features. The horse is available in a range of natural colours with your choice of leather tack.
